Join our dynamic team in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a Picker/Packer! In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately picking products for outgoing orders and meticulously packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail will ensure that customers receive the correct items, in the right quantities, and securely packaged. Responsibilities include reading order tickets or using scanning technology to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves, performing quality checks on picked items, and preparing them for the packing station. At the packing station, you will select appropriate packaging materials, assemble boxes, ensure items are protected during transit, and apply shipping labels correctly. This position requires adherence to all safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to maintain a secure and efficient work environment. The role involves frequent lifting and moving of packages, so physical stamina is essential. Experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect products for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to meeting daily shipping targets.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and logistics practices.
