We are recruiting for a Warehouse Associate position at our facility in Omaha, Nebraska. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in a range of essential warehouse duties, including receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and shipping. Your role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our logistics and distribution network. You will work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the accurate and timely processing of orders. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and verify shipment contents.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations accurately.
- Pick items for customer orders using scanning technology or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, strictly adhering to safety protocols and the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities such as cycle counting.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Perform tasks that involve manual dexterity and moderate Lifting.
- Contribute to team goals and support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for long periods, bending, and moderate Lifting.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and follow directions.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Familiarity with general logistics processes is a plus.
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced operational setting.
