About
We are seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to lead our operations in Boise, Idaho. This role is crucial for overseeing warehouse activities, managing inventory, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of logistics, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise warehouse staff and delegate tasks effectively.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct audits, and implement improvements to inventory control.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of all inventory.
- Ensure all warehouse operations adhere to company policies and Safety regulations.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and other departments to ensure smooth logistics.
- Implement and enforce strict Safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure proper usage.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures and Safety practices.
- Handle operational challenges that may involve overseeing tasks requiring significant Lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or coordination.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and logistics principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software (WMS) and other relevant technology.
- Ability to develop and implement Safety programs.
- Physical capability to perform warehouse tasks, including occasional Lifting.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
