Join our dynamic team as a Receiving Clerk in Fort Worth, Texas! We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage the receiving process for our warehouse. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that all incoming goods are accurately recorded, inspected, and stored. Your diligence will contribute significantly to our inventory accuracy and overall efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Unpack, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Accurately record received goods into the inventory management system.
- Identify and report any damaged or missing items to the appropriate personnel.
- Stage received goods for distribution or stocking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Wear all required PPE to ensure personal and collective Safety.
- Perform tasks that may involve moderate Lifting and prolonged standing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, or a similar logistics role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and inspection.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical capability to perform tasks including standing, walking, and moderate Lifting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
