Join our growing team as a Material Handler in Boise, Idaho! This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics network. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, organizing, and preparing materials for production or shipment. This includes receiving goods, stocking inventory, transferring materials between departments, and preparing items for outbound logistics. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable of handling various materials, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. You will be operating equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies, and may be required to use other material handling equipment. Significant lifting, often up to 50 lbs, is a regular part of this job. Safety is our utmost priority; therefore, strict adherence to all safety regulations and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety shoes and high-visibility vests, is required. You will work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely processing of materials. This position offers a hands-on role in the heart of our supply chain operations. We are looking for individuals who can work diligently and contribute to a positive team atmosphere. Opportunities for training on additional equipment may be available for dedicated employees. A keen awareness of your surroundings and a proactive approach to safety are essential. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials.
- Transport materials to designated storage locations.
- Stock and organize inventory accurately.
- Move materials between different areas of the warehouse.
- Prepare materials for shipment or production.
- Operate pallet jacks, dollies, and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counting.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
