Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Clerk at our Nashville, Tennessee location. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Key duties include conducting cycle counts, researching and resolving inventory discrepancies, managing inventory adjustments, and maintaining precise inventory records within our system. A sharp eye for detail, strong organizational abilities, and familiarity with warehouse management systems are essential for success. Your accurate inventory management directly impacts our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction within our Logistics framework. You will collaborate with various warehouse teams to address and resolve inventory-related challenges. Upholding our stringent Safety standards and consistently using the required PPE are paramount. While the role primarily focuses on data and record-keeping, some physical tasks, including minor Lifting , may be involved. This position offers a stable environment and the chance to become an integral part of our supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily cycle counts and participate in physical inventory counts.
  • Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Process inventory adjustments (e.g., damages, transfers) in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor stock levels and alert management to potential stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Ensure accurate receiving and put-away processes to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Maintain organized and accessible inventory documentation.
  • Identify and segregate damaged or obsolete inventory.
  • Strictly adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Use all mandated PPE correctly and at all times.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a similar role preferred.
  • Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team.
  • Understanding of general warehouse operations and Logistics best practices.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capacity for some manual Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety and correct use of PPE .
