In this vital role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your primary responsibilities will include picking items from warehouse shelves, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. This position demands accuracy, efficiency, and a keen eye for detail. You'll work with a variety of products, requiring careful handling and organization. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment and possess the physical stamina needed for the role, including significant lifting. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and require all employees to utilize appropriate PPE. Experience with order fulfillment systems is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using order lists or scanning devices.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Package orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate shipping materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
- Report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the fulfillment process within the logistics chain.
- Ensure proper handling and lifting techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Collaborate effectively with team members.
