We are seeking motivated individuals to accurately fulfill customer orders in our dynamic warehouse environment. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that our clients receive precisely what they ordered in excellent condition and on time. You will be responsible for locating items, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring order accuracy. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and value precision, this is the perfect fit.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders or pick tickets.
- Utilize RF scanners or other technology to track picked items and manage inventory movement.
- Inspect items for any defects or damage before proceeding to the packing stage.
- Carefully pack orders using appropriate packaging materials to ensure product safety and prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and any necessary documentation to packages correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and surrounding warehouse area.
- Follow all established company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through diligent picking and reporting of discrepancies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals in our logistics center.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times to ensure safety.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a picking or packing role is advantageous but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring precision and attention to detail consistently.
- Comfortable with frequent lifting of items up to 30 pounds and performing repetitive motions.
- Must be able to remain on your feet and walk for extended periods throughout your shift.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Works well independently and contributes positively to a team environment.
- Demonstrates reliability and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols is beneficial.
