Our Washington, D.C. facility is looking for a dedicated Picker/Packer to contribute to our streamlined logistics operations. This role involves accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment, ensuring that every order is fulfilled with precision and care. You will be instrumental in maintaining customer satisfaction through efficient and error-free order processing. This is a dynamic position within a busy warehouse environment.Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order sheets or electronic devices.
- Verify the quantity and item number of picked goods.
- Pack items carefully and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and any required documentation.
- Stage packed orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Participate in inventory management tasks as needed.
- Comply with all safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is a strong asset.
- Ability to read and interpret order information accurately.
- Skilled in fast-paced environments with a focus on quality.
- Capable of lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and inventory procedures.
- A commitment to teamwork and productivity.
