We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our busy warehouse in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. If you have experience operating forklifts and a strong commitment to safety, we want to hear from you! You will be responsible for moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining inventory accuracy within our logistics operations. This role is crucial for the smooth flow of goods through our facility. We provide a safe working environment and expect all team members to follow strict safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE. Experience with different types of forklifts and a proven track record of safe operation are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
- Perform pre-operation inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Transport raw materials and finished goods to and from designated areas.
- Assist with inventory management by accurately staging products for shipment.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring aisles and docks are clear.
- Adhere to all lifting requirements and utilize proper techniques to prevent injury.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Properly document all movements of goods and report any discrepancies.
- Wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses and footwear, at all times.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Forklift Operator is required. Valid forklift certification is a plus. Must be able to perform physical tasks including moderate Lifting. Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial. A strong commitment to Safety and teamwork is essential. Must be comfortable wearing required PPE.
