About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a highly organized and analytical Pricing Coordinator to support terminal-based transportation and logistics operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working cross-functionally to ensure accurate, competitive, and strategic pricing solutions.


The successful candidate will play a key role in developing rate structures, maintaining pricing systems, supporting operational teams, and contributing to overall profitability and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue rate quotations for new and existing clients based on cost analysis, operational capacity, and market conditions
  • Confirm and manage rates for COD accounts, ensuring timely communication of rate updates and offers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date pricing databases, tariffs, and customer rate agreements
  • Collaborate with dispatch, sales, and operations teams to ensure pricing accuracy across services such as LTL and cross-docking
  • Analyze pricing trends, lane costing, and customer profitability to support strategic decision-making
  • Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external pricing inquiries
  • Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes, including automation and quote turnaround efficiencies
  • Ensure adherence to contractual agreements and interval pricing policies
  • Support billing and audit teams in resolving rate discrepancies and pricing disputes


Qualifications & Experience

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or a pricing-focused role
  • Direct experience within trucking and/or logistics operations
  • Working knowledge of transportation management systems (experience with TruckMate considered an asset)
  • Strong understanding of terminal-based logistics operations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail


Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 annually
