Assistant Project Manager

GV Canada ULC, a Canadian subsidiary of Graniti Vicentia LLC , is a construction consulting firm specializing in preconstruction services and interior design solutions for hospitality industry projects.
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support procurement coordination, vendor management, logistics planning, and project documentation activities for hospitality construction projects.
Position Summary
The Assistant Project Manager will assist in coordinating FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), and related supply chain activities from project initiation through close-out. The role requires collaboration with internal departments, external vendors, and clients to ensure adherence to approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain procurement and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate issuance of sales orders and purchase orders.
- Support vendor management, bid revisions, and change order preparation.
- Track project costs and assist in budget monitoring and reporting.
- Coordinate shipment scheduling and delivery logistics.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and prepare close-out reports.
- Review shop drawings and support architectural and civil coordination activities.
- Prepare expediting reports and stakeholder updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in construction, procurement, or project coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of hospitality procurement (FF&E/OS&E) is considered an asset.
