The Actuarial Analyst 2, specializing in Data Analytics and Forecasting, plays a crucial role in analyzing and predicting financial, economic, and other data. This position provides timely and accurate information to support strategic and operational decisions within our organization. You will establish metrics, conduct data analyses, and work closely with business intelligence teams. By evaluating industry trends and market dynamics, you will contribute to shaping the organization's financial future. In this role, you will ensure the integrity of our data by creating and executing robust processes and controls. Collaboration with stakeholders is key; you will delve into business challenges, troubleshoot issues, conduct root cause analysis, and propose effective solutions to data anomalies. A thorough understanding of our department's operations and strategic objectives is essential as you navigate through complex situations with minimal guidance. This role directly supports innovative value-based initiatives and requires collaboration with key business partners to provide essential analytical support for contract development, savings valuation, financial accruals, and bid submissions. Utilize your expertise to drive meaningful impact! Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree
Successful completion of at least 3 actuarial exams
Demonstrated strong analytical skills
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and presentation abilities
Genuine passion for enhancing consumer experiences within the organization
Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in Excel, SAS, VBA, and Databricks, with the ability to manage large datasets
While this is primarily a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices may be necessary for training or meetings. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation Range: $80,900 - $110,300 per year This position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on both company and individual performance.
