on site 1 month with highly likely extension and potential to go permanent A large IT Managed Service Provider is looking for a hands-on Desktop Support Engineer to work with their end client in Hull. You'll play a key role in keeping people connected and productive - installing and maintaining hardware, supporting software deployments, and resolving day-to-day technical issues on-site and remotely. What you'll do: Install and configure desktops, laptops, phones, and peripherals Support Windows-based systems and approved software packages Troubleshoot printers, scanners, and AV conferencing systems Handle firmware updates, patches, and security remediation Manage mobile devices and coordinate with third-party vendors Assist with moves, changes, and disaster recovery tests What we're looking for: Proven experience in IT or desktop support Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and hardware setup Experience with Active Directory, antivirus tools, and remote support Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Proactive, customer-focused, and a true team player Ā£230 per day inside IR35 Hull 1 month with highly likely extension and potential to go permanent
