Job Title: Solutions Architect (Applications and Integration) Location: Remote (occasional travel to London required) Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 (Depending on location) Would you like to work for an organisation plays a pivotal role in safeguarding and improving the quality of health and social care services across England. My client plays a vital role in improving outcomes across health and social care by using data, technology, and insight to drive meaningful change. With a strong focus on innovation and digital transformation, they are investing in modern cloud platforms, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics to become a truly intelligence-led regulator. Solutions Architect Responsibilities Define and promote integration patterns and approaches (e.g. APIs, event-driven integration, messaging, batch, data synchronisation) appropriate to business needs. Develop and assure roadmaps for application modernisation, integration platform adoption, and decommissioning of legacy systems. Ensure solution designs meet non-functional requirements including security, performance, availability, accessibility, and operational supportability. Work closely with Business, Enterprise, Data, and Security Architects to ensure application and integration designs align with the target architecture and technology strategy. Solutions Architect Requirements Significant experience designing and delivering application and integration solutions in complex enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of modern application architectures, including cloud-native, microservices, and modular monolith approaches. Proven experience designing and implementing integration solutions using APIs, messaging, event-driven architectures, and integration platforms. Experience working with SaaS products and integrating them with existing enterprise systems.
