Job Title: Internal Sales SupportLocation: BirminghamSalary: £30,000 We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Internal Sales Support professional to join a busy and growing sales team based in Birmingham. This role is vital to the smooth running of the sales function, providing day-to-day support to the sales team while delivering excellent service to customers. The Role Reporting into the Sales Support Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring sales activities run efficiently and customers receive a consistently high level of service. You'll work closely with the sales team, customers, and internal departments to support order processing, manage enquiries, and help drive sales performance. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the sales team Answer incoming calls professionally and manage messages accurately Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication Raise, confirm, and process sales orders accurately within internal systems Chase and follow up on direct deliveries to ensure timely dispatch Monitor stock availability and manage stock orders to meet customer demand Liaise with internal departments to resolve issues impacting sales or delivery Provide quotations for products and services Handle customer queries and resolve issues efficiently and professionally Support account mapping and provide insights to assist sales planning Make outbound calls to customers and handle inbound sales enquiries Provide cover for sales colleagues during periods of absence Attend customer meetings where required to support the sales process Assist the sales team in achieving individual and team sales targets Skills, Knowledge & Experience Strong understanding of customer service within a sales environment Familiarity with sales processes, order processing, and stock management Confident verbal and written communication skills Excellent organisational skills with the ability xbpsjku to manage multiple priorities Comfortable using CRM systems, order processing software, and Microsoft Office A team player with a collaborative, supportive approach Customer-focused mindset with a proactive and positive attitude Flexible and adaptable, able to respond to changing priorities Driven, motivated, and keen to continuously develop skills What's On Offer Salary of £30,000 Birmingham-based role Supportive team environment Opportunity to develop within a growing sales organisation If you're an organised Internal Sales Support professional who enjoys working closely with customers and sales teams, we'd love to hear from you.
