Position: Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Friday, All year round
Salary: £27,996.80

Located on Perry Hill in Catford, The Dulwich Day Nursery & Preschool is a nurturing environment where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired to learn. We are on the lookout for a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated team. This full-time role requires working 40 hours per week, with shifts between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm. The ideal candidate will hold a full and relevant Level 2 qualification. Please note, this is a year-round position, as our nursery operates throughout the year.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Ensure that each child’s individual needs are met, delivering high-quality care and education in a safe and secure environment.
- Observe, assess, and plan engaging early years activities that support each child’s unique learning and development.
- Collaborate as a professional team member, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to develop new skills.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and applied.
- Follow risk assessments diligently and report any health and safety matters to management.
- Support the holistic development of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

What You Need to SucceedTo thrive in this role, you will need:
- Full and relevant Level 2 childcare qualification - essential
- Fluency in written and spoken English - essential
- Over 1 year’s experience working in Early Years - desirable
- Knowledge of the Statutory Framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable
