We are seeking an energetic and reliable Order Picker for our busy Oklahoma City, Oklahoma warehouse. As an Order Picker, you will be at the forefront of our logistics process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. Your main responsibilities will involve using a scanner to locate and retrieve specific items from warehouse shelves, verifying the items against order details, and preparing them for the packing and shipping stages. This role demands accuracy, speed, and a strong attention to detail to minimize errors and maximize productivity. We are committed to a safe working environment, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is paramount. The job requires frequent movement and the ability to perform lifting tasks, up to 50 lbs. Your duties will include:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using a pick list or scanner.
- Verify picked items against order requirements.
- Maintain productivity standards for order picking.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or product quality to a supervisor.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Ensure all picked items are ready for the next stage of the logistics process.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
