Join our expanding logistics network as a Distribution Center Associate in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is fundamental to our daily operations, encompassing a wide range of warehouse activities designed to ensure the efficient flow of goods. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping, playing a vital part in getting products to our customers accurately and on time. We are seeking dependable, safety-conscious individuals ready to contribute to a busy and dynamic warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
- Load finished goods onto delivery trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to company standards.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counting.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for the duration of the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices and willingness to wear required PPE.
- Flexible to work overtime as needed.
