Our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania location is hiring a Warehouse Associate to contribute to the efficient operation of our distribution center. This role is crucial for supporting our logistics network, involving a variety of tasks from receiving and storing goods to order fulfillment and shipping preparation. We are seeking individuals who are reliable, possess a strong work ethic, and are committed to safety and productivity. You will work within a team-oriented environment, contributing to the overall success of our warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against documentation.
- Store inventory accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to established procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks safely.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock put-away.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
- Contribute to the efficiency of our logistics flow by performing tasks with accuracy and speed.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and willingness to strictly adhere to them, including the proper use of PPE.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
