About
We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team in Sacramento, California. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise within the warehouse. This role is essential to our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods from receiving to dispatch. You will operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials around the warehouse, load and unload trailers, and assist with inventory management. A strong commitment to Safety, proper equipment operation, and adherence to all company policies are required. This position demands a high level of responsibility and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments from trucks and trailers.
- Move and stack merchandise to designated locations within the warehouse.
- Assist with receiving and put-away of inventory.
- Perform pre-operational checks on forklift equipment to ensure Safety and functionality.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory locations.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Forklift Operator certification or license.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and material handling.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Commitment to Safety and responsible equipment operation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
