Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing staff, and ensuring that all Logistics activities are conducted efficiently and safely. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining productivity, enforcing Safety protocols, and optimizing workflow. We are looking for individuals with a proven track record in warehouse management and a strong commitment to Safety and operational excellence. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff, including Material Handlers, Warehouse Associates, and Forklift Operators.
  • Ensure efficient execution of all warehouse functions, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Enforce all company Safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Train and mentor warehouse personnel, providing guidance and support.
  • Monitor inventory levels and accuracy, coordinating with inventory control.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to maximize efficiency and minimize errors.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and ensure proper usage of tools and machinery.
  • Conduct regular Safety inspections and ensure compliance with PPE requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless Logistics operations.
  • Handle performance management, scheduling, and disciplinary actions as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
  • Strong understanding of Logistics operations, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including Lifting up to 50 lbs when necessary.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and adhere to strict Safety standards, including PPE usage.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
