About
Seeking a meticulous Receiving Clerk for our Omaha, Nebraska facility. This role is fundamental to maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring the smooth flow of goods. You will be responsible for the efficient processing of all incoming shipments, from unloading and inspection to verification and data entry. Your attention to detail will directly impact our operational efficiency and inventory integrity. The ideal candidate is highly organized, reliable, and committed to upholding Safety standards. We foster a supportive work environment and provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure your protection while performing your duties, including tasks involving considerable Lifting. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a vital part of our Logistics operations and grow within our company. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any discrepancies and ensure that all goods are accounted for accurately. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Inspect goods for damage and verify quantities against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Document all received items accurately in our inventory management system.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate personnel.
- Organize received goods for internal distribution or storage.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly receiving area.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate PPE at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role is advantageous.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Understanding of basic Logistics concepts is beneficial.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
