Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Sort, stock, and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items to fulfill customer orders using scanners or pick lists.
- Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring quality presentation.
- Stage completed orders for outgoing transportation, verifying contents.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies, safely and proficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area according to company standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and assist in physical inventory reconciliation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and production targets.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, safety procedures, and guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center role is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting, standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift.
- Proficiency in operating basic warehouse equipment.
- Strong commitment to safety and awareness of potential hazards.
- Excellent organizational skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory control.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
