Bulbar Palsy (ALS family) Non-verbal and limited mobility- Can still walk with a walker with support.
Signs of Cognitive Decline. About the care needs: Respite care-- someone who can check in on my mom if we are gone for a weekend (can schedule out months in advance). They do not have to stay 24/7, but should pop in every few hours and prefer that they would stay the night. Needs to have some strength to help my mom prop up into a walker. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
