We are seeking dedicated Warehouse Associates to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in the warehouse and logistics industry. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring orders are picked and packed correctly, and contributing to the overall efficiency and smooth functioning of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, be physically fit, and have a keen eye for detail. Prior experience in a warehouse setting is a plus, but not required, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Pick and fill orders accurately from warehouse inventory.
- Package and prepare orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Assist in maintaining inventory records and performing cycle counts.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, focusing on safety .
- Proper usage of all required PPE is mandatory.
- This position requires regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental objectives.
