As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our order fulfillment process. Your responsibilities will include accurately locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves, preparing them for shipment, and maintaining organized work areas. This role is crucial for our logistics operations, as timely and accurate order fulfillment directly impacts customer satisfaction. We emphasize a safe working environment, and all employees are required to use appropriate PPE. The ability to perform repetitive Lifting tasks is essential. Your role is central to our supply chain and logistics success. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated locations based on order lists.
- Verify product information and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package picked items securely for shipment.
- Operate picking equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely.
- Maintain clean and organized aisles and work areas.
- Track inventory levels and report any stock discrepancies.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order status.
- Demonstrate commitment to meeting picking quotas while maintaining high quality standards in our logistics operations.
Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus. Ability to perform consistent Lifting of items weighing up to 40 pounds. Basic reading and math skills for order verification. Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic. This role requires a commitment to safety and accuracy in all logistics tasks.
