Job Summary:
Our distribution facility in Denver, Colorado is seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist. This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for implementing and managing inventory control procedures, conducting cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring optimal stock levels. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to upholding Safety standards within our Logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective inventory control procedures.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Manage inventory accuracy within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of all inventory items.
  • Train warehouse staff on inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor stock levels and advise on reorder points and adjustments.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth Logistics flow.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and WMS software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret data and generate reports.
  • Experience with Safety regulations and maintaining a secure warehouse environment.
  • Must be able to perform tasks that may involve occasional moderate Lifting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
