Job Summary:
Are you detail-oriented and experienced in inventory management? We are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for our facility in Provo, Utah. This pivotal role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data, which is critical for efficient warehouse operations and logistics. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, performing stock adjustments, and maintaining organized storage systems. Your work directly impacts our ability to fulfill orders accurately and maintain optimal stock levels. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a meticulous approach to work, and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems. Safety is a key concern, and you will ensure that all inventory handling procedures comply with safety regulations and the proper use of PPE. This position requires a proactive mindset and the ability to troubleshoot inventory-related issues effectively.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure data accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Process inventory adjustments, receipts, and shipments in the WMS.
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify potential stock-outs or overstock situations.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse storage locations for optimal efficiency and accessibility.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Track and manage returned goods and defective inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to improve inventory accuracy and flow.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and the proper use of PPE in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 pounds occasionally.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
