We are looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is vital for the smooth functioning of our operations, ensuring that products are processed efficiently and accurately. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, including receiving goods, organizing inventory, picking and packing customer orders, and preparing shipments. Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory.
- Pick items accurately from shelves to fulfill orders.
- Pack orders with care and ensure proper labeling for shipment.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks and other vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate manual equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies.
- Support the Logistics team in meeting daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring consistent physical effort, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear all required PPE.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions.
- Understanding of basic Logistics principles.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
