We are seeking a skilled Material Handler for our busy warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout the facility, ensuring that inventory is organized, accessible, and ready for distribution. This role is critical to the smooth flow of our Logistics operations. You will operate various equipment, manage inventory flow, and assist with loading and unloading trucks. We require individuals with a strong understanding of warehouse procedures, a commitment to workplace Safety , and the physical ability to perform demanding tasks. Prior experience operating forklifts or other heavy equipment is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors, safely and efficiently.
- Receive, unload, and move incoming materials to designated storage areas.
- Transport materials to and from production, packing, and shipping areas.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counting and stock rotation.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of goods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE .
- Identify and report any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions.
- Support the overall efficiency of our Logistics department.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is a must.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring significant physical exertion, including heavy Lifting .
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Familiarity with Logistics best practices.
