Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous Receiving Clerk to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring that all goods are accurately received, inspected, and documented. This role is critical to maintaining accurate inventory records and facilitating the smooth flow of products through our supply chain. You will be responsible for verifying shipment contents against purchase orders, inspecting for damage, and accurately entering receiving data into our inventory system. A strong commitment to Safety and adherence to proper handling procedures are paramount. If you have excellent organizational skills, a sharp eye for detail, and experience in a warehouse or Logistics environment, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload incoming shipments from vendors and carriers.
  • Verify the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
  • Document all receiving activities accurately in the inventory management system.
  • Tag and label incoming inventory for proper storage.
  • Communicate any receiving issues or discrepancies to management and relevant departments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
  • Adhere to all warehouse Safety regulations and utilize appropriate PPE .
  • Assist with inventory control and stock placement as needed.
  • Support overall Logistics operations by ensuring timely and accurate receiving.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in receiving, warehouse operations, or inventory control preferred.
  • Proficiency in data entry and using inventory management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and moderate Lifting .
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and the importance of PPE .
  • Familiarity with Logistics and supply chain processes is a plus.
  • Good communication skills.
