We are looking for dedicated Order Pickers to join our growing team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring our customers receive the correct items promptly. Your contribution is key to our Logistics operations and customer satisfaction. As an Order Picker, you will utilize scanning technology or pick lists to locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves. Attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to Safety are essential. You will be provided with and required to use appropriate PPE to ensure a safe working environment. This position requires consistent physical exertion, including extensive walking, standing, bending, and frequent Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and retrieve items from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Scan items and/or confirm picks electronically.
- Ensure order accuracy by double-checking picked items against order tickets.
- Stage completed orders for the packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain a tidy and well-organized workspace.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Support overall Logistics efficiency and productivity goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists or follow RF scanner instructions.
- Must be comfortable with physical demands, including significant walking and frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong focus on accuracy and quality control.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and diligent use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a Logistics context.
