Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and efficient Shipping Clerk for our Seattle, Washington warehouse. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping documentation, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring that packages are correctly labeled and prepared for dispatch. This position is vital to our logistics operations, guaranteeing that our products reach our customers in perfect condition and on schedule. Responsibilities:
  • Process and prepare all outgoing shipments, including creating shipping labels and bills of lading.
  • Verify order accuracy and ensure all items are packed correctly and securely.
  • Schedule and coordinate with freight carriers for package pickups.
  • Track shipments and provide updates to relevant parties.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.
  • Operate shipping equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory use of PPE.
  • Assist with inventory management and perform cycle counts as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency with shipping software and carrier management systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety regulations.
