About
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Provo, Utah. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient movement and organization of goods. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, unpacking, stocking, and preparing materials for shipment. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will directly impact our operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move products and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of cargo.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damage.
- Accurately stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Participate in inventory counts and audits as required.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols.
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned, supporting the overall logistics flow.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of material handling equipment operation and maintenance.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
