Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory accurately.
- Sort, stock, and organize merchandise in designated areas of the distribution center.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and accuracy, using scanners or pick lists.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and participate in physical inventories.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet daily operational goals and production targets.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those concerning safety and quality control in logistics.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall distribution center operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting, standing, walking, and bending.
- Proficiency in operating various warehouse equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and the importance of proper PPE.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and logistics processes.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and hazard-free workplace.
