Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and identifying any discrepancies.
- Organize and store inventory efficiently within the warehouse, maintaining proper stock rotation.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and documentation are in place.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks in a safe manner.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment, following all established safety guidelines.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain process through diligent work and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Proficiency in operating material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and contribute effectively as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles is beneficial.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
