We are seeking a diligent Warehouse Associate to become part of our team in Tampa, Florida. This role is crucial for the efficient functioning of our warehouse and distribution network. You will be involved in a variety of tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and general warehouse upkeep. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. - Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Storing products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Picking products accurately based on customer orders, using scanners and other technology.
- Packing products securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Preparing orders for shipping, including labeling and staging.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training may be provided).
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Participating in inventory counts and stock management.
- Adhering strictly to all safety regulations and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Performing other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Commitment to safety standards and the correct use of PPE.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Reliability and punctuality.
