*Job Summary*
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Your expertise will help improve patientsโ€™ quality of life by developing personalized therapy plans and providing compassionate patient care. *Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for patients across various age groups, including pediatrics and school-aged children
* Develop tailored therapy plans based on individual patient needs, physiology knowledge, and medical history
* Implement engaging therapy sessions focused on improving speech clarity, language skills, social communication, and swallowing functions
* Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to support patient progress and ensure continuity of care
* Monitor patient progress regularly through assessments and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
* Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and patient outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations
* Educate families and caregivers on exercises and strategies to support ongoing development at home
*Skills*
* Proven experience working with pediatric populations in school or clinical settings
* Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques and early intervention strategies
* Familiarity with medical terminology related to speech, language, and physiology
* Excellent patient assessment skills to identify communication disorders accurately
* Deep understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to speech production and swallowing functions
* Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
* Passion for patient care with a proactive approach to therapy planning and implementation

Pay: $46.14 - $55.57 per hour
