If you want to make these priorities your own in the broad field of fire rescue, you are the person we are looking for and we invite you to join the Fire and Rescue Service (SIS). With more than 750 personnel, its main objective is to ensure maximum safety with passion and SIS is organizing a recruitment process to select professionals to eventually complete its workforce: PROFESSIONAL FIREFIGHTERS. Your mission and responsibilities: You will attend the SIS school for professional firefighters and complete the intermediate modules and the federal SPP certificate. Under the supervision of a certified firefighter, you will participate in rescue missions during fires, accidents, and any other event requiring rescue resources. You will assist in the maintenance and recovery of vehicles and equipment, as well as various tasks or missions necessary for the service. You will actively collaborate in any maintenance and/or cleaning tasks of the equipment and infrastructure of the service. You will ensure you maintain a physical condition capable of meeting the job's demands and actively participate in training sessions. Upon obtaining your federal certificate, you will be incorporated either into a fire and rescue company or at the Engagement and Alarm Processing Center (CETA) as needed.Your profile: You are a resident of Switzerland or hold a C permit with an application in progress allowing you to obtain Swiss residency by the end of February at the latest. You were born between year and year , and possess a federal vocational diploma (CFC) or a recognized equivalent. You have a category B driver's license for Swiss residents, or a light and heavy vehicle driver's license for residents abroad (any pending licenses must expire by September 1). You have a clean criminal record. You are willing to follow the professional firefighter training and maintain appropriate physical training and commit to residing by September 1 in the authorized area.Required documents: The Fire and Rescue Service (SIS) must have all the documents listed below upon submission of the application by May 15 at the latest.List of documents to upload only on JobUp: a completed Curriculum Vitae (CV); note that JobUp does not allow you to modify your CV (for example, to add a forgotten document!).
