We're looking for a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join our Capital Programme team and help shape the future of the UK's energy network. If you thrive on delivering high‑quality designs, solving technical challenges, and working across diverse projects, this is your next big move.
What You'll Do
Produce high‑quality electrical designs across a wide asset and connections portfolio Ensure all designs meet UKPN, CDM and industry standards Prepare concept and developed designs to cost, time and quality targets Collaborate with operations teams through enquiry to energisation Contribute to technical, commercial and procurement documentation Support continuous improvement and mentor colleagues
What You'll Bring
Electrical engineering background + degree (or equivalent) Knowledge of power system and protection design up to 132kV Experience with DNO/ENA standards Strong understanding of CDM 2015 AutoCAD or MicroStation proficiency Strong team‑working, problem‑solving and safety mindset
