With a strong family identity, we promote autonomy and integration within our Methods team and the company PX Précimet SA, we are looking for a Process/Metallurgy Engineer.Your Impact:- Reduce waste and rework- Stabilize product quality- Increase process efficiency- Reduce costs related to quality issues- Continuously improve production methods- Analyze current processes to find opportunities and implement actions to make the process more stable and reliable- Identify and reduce non-conformities by seeking the root causes of problems- Monitor control plans and quality- Lead projects using methods like X Six Sigma- Standardize and document best practices so that everyone follows the same rules- Provide technical support in case of production problems- Participate in projects or the launch of new productsYou make a difference if:- You hold a degree from an engineering school (EPFL or equivalent) in metallurgy or process engineering- You have a Six Sigma certification (ideally)- You have a good knowledge of metallurgy (defects, microstructures, treatment properties)- You master problem-solving and continuous improvement methods (DMAIC, 8D, FMEA)- You know how to use tools (SPC, Cp/Cpk, Minitab is appreciated)- You have a strong field presence and an analytical, rigorous, and structured mindset- You can convince and motivate teams- You are autonomous while being a good team player with a focus on results- You speak fluent French and have a good level of EnglishNext steps:If your profile matches our advertisement, please send a CV along with a cover letter.
