CFC polymechanics manufacture parts, tools, and devices used for production or assemble devices, machines, or equipment. Alongside other professionals, they handle projects, develop construction solutions, create technical documents, build prototypes, and conduct tests. They participate in commissioning, maintenance work, and process monitoring or carry out tasks related to polymechanics. CFC polymechanics are distinguished by an economical approach and action. They execute the tasks and projects assigned to them efficiently and autonomously. They are used to working in teams, are flexible, and open to new experiences. Vallorbe Metallurgical Factories SA (UMV) are recognized at the international level as the preferred choice of the most demanding professionals for their precision tools. Thus, files, rifflers, rasps, chisels, burins, pearl drills, etc., are used in multiple sectors of activity, including the forestry, jewelry, and watchmaking industries, as well as automotive, aerospace, farriery, lutherie, and skiing. The company, employing around 200 people, markets its products in more than 80 countries through a network of several hundred. We are recruiting for the start of August: APPRENTICE POLYMECHANIC CFC. Qualities: technical understanding, interest in technical complexity and mechanics, comprehension of abstract reports, good manual skills, precise and careful work, ability to remain focused and perseverant, reliability, aptitude for dual work over 4 years, leading to a Federal Certificate of Proficiency (CFC). Classes at the vocational school, 2 days a week at most. Possibility of obtaining a professional qualification in parallel allowing access to a specialized university (HES). Start date: August.
