Mechanical Design Engineer
Itasca,IL
$30-$40/hr depending on experience
We're looking for a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer to develop complex mechanical systems.
Responsibilities Create preliminary and final designs, drawings, and BOMs Manage projects and meet key milestones on time Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Purchasing, and vendors Troubleshoot design/manufacturing issues and lead root-cause solutions Support continuous improvement and new product development Occasional domestic/international travel Requirements
Strong mechanical design skills Proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar) and AutoCAD Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to produce accurate, first-time-right designs Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Outlook and ERP systems Preferred
