We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in streamlining development and operations processes. This position focuses on building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, automating testing and development workflows, and improving system observability and monitoring to ensure high availability and performance.
Responsibilities will include:
* Design, implement, and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines to support development and operations teams. * Enable seamless integration and delivery processes to accelerate software release cycles. * Automate repetitive tasks, including testing, build processes, and deployment workflows. * Leverage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices to manage and scale infrastructure. * Develop and enhance system monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure proactive issue identification and resolution. * Implement observability tools to provide actionable insights into application and system performance. * Work closely with IT, development, and operations teams to ensure smooth and secure software deployments. * Contribute to the adoption of DevOps best practices across the organization. * Optimize system performance, resource utilization, and application reliability. * Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues to maintain system stability.
Job Requirements
The following are requirements for consideration:
* *U.S. citizenship required *and an active secret clearance is a plus. At a minimum, must be security clearance eligible. * Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions. * Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. * Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes. * Experience with migrating SVN repositories to Git. * Familiarity with AWS including their managed DevOps tools. Experience with AWS GovCloud is a plus. * Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. * Familiarity with security practices in DevOps, including vulnerability scanning and patch management. * Certification in cloud programs (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, etc.) is a plus. xawqmyg * Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2, FedRAMP is a plus.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
