LSEG RTMDS Engineer developing the RTDS market data managed service platform. ROLE SUMMARY: As the RTMDS Engineer you will be developing the RTDS market data managed service platform, where you will be a great teammate and problem solver. You will need to be a leader to delivery teams, operations and our partners. You will be responsible for: Engineering core functionality and client solutions for LSEG hosted market data platforms.
Developing configurations, automation and deliver infrastructure.
Consulting with both internal teams and customers.
Developing solutions from requirements to customer live and beyond. Ensuring on going compliance to LSEG standards and process.
Delivery to customers with excellence, reliability, sustainable and predictability.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Developing a private cloud hosting RTDS (TREP) market data platform with many hundreds of customers who will be both knowledgeable and expect excellent service.
You'll be involved in the platform management ensuring compliance to company standards and within vendor supported criteria.
Maintaining YAML and JSON based configuration to handle deployments.
Developing Python and Ansible solutions to automate systems delivery and operation.
Working with development teams and engineering teams to produce complex automation to deliver mass infrastructure.
Working core development teams to deliver functionality and resolve issues with LSEG products.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING: You must have deep knowledge of RTDS Market data products in the financial sector and experience of delivering solutions. Domain authority on products such as RTDS ADH, ADS, DACS and ATS. Experience of networks and server hardware.
Must have Python, RHEL, shell scripting expertise and proven track record of trouble shooting Market data network issues.
Experience of hardware tuning.
Experience of automation tools such as rundeck and advanced scripting.
Workflow tools such as Service Now and Jira.
Automation development using tools such as Git and DX1.
Nice to have: Experience of HPE synergy, ITRS, BigPanda and HPE Oneview.

Compensation/Benefits Information: LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $129,700 - $216,100. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
