Join our premier logistics company in San Francisco, California, as an Order Picker. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to accurately and efficiently select items from our warehouse inventory to fulfill customer orders. This role requires speed, accuracy, and a strong commitment to safety, forming a critical link in our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from various warehouse locations using pick lists, RF scanners, or other technology.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Stage picked orders for packing and subsequent shipment.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all protocols.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of warehouse logistics.
- Ability to perform tasks involving lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Work collaboratively with the picking, packing, and shipping teams to meet operational demands.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout a large warehouse environment for extended periods.
- Physical capability to perform frequent lifting, bending, and reaching.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including potential overtime and weekends.
