Note: Day Shift (8AM-5PM), Hybrid Schedule after 90 days (based on business need)
Description: As a Mechanical Engineer at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions that support our Industrial Automation business. You'll apply strong mechanical design principles, leverage advanced CAD tools, and contribute to high performance conveyor MHE system designs that meet industry-leading standards of quality, reliability, and safety.
How You Will Make an Impact: You will be a key contributor to the full product development lifecycle-translating mechanical requirements into robust designs, collaborating across engineering disciplines, and ensuring system performance through analysis, Modeling, and validation. Your work will directly influence the success of Honeywell's Industrial Automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the mechanical design process from concept through project delivery Collaborate with cross functional teams to define requirements and specifications Design and develop complex conveyor MHE systems Perform mechanical analyses and simulations to ensure performance and reliability Mentor and provide technical support to junior engineers Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices You must have:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or a related STEM discipline 1+ years of experience in mechanical design and development Strong understanding of mechanical design principle Proficiency with AutoCAD Experience using mechanical analysis and simulation tools Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
