We are seeking motivated and efficient Picker/Packers to join our growing warehouse team in Provo, Utah. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your primary responsibilities will involve selecting items from inventory, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch within our logistics network. This position demands accuracy, speed, and a strong adherence to safety protocols. You will work in a dynamic warehouse setting, contributing to the seamless flow of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on order specifications using scanning devices or pick lists.
- Pack items with care, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify the contents of each order against the manifest.
- Apply shipping labels and ensure packages are ready for carrier pickup.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation and surrounding areas.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Meet individual and team productivity targets.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory checks as directed.
- Report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
- Contribute to a positive and cooperative team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to interpret order forms and product codes.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Capacity to work at a steady pace and meet performance goals.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards, including proper lifting techniques and the importance of PPE.
- Effective communication skills.
