Job Summary:
Are you an experienced Order Picker seeking an opportunity in Detroit, Michigan? Our warehouse is looking for a meticulous and efficient Order Picker to accurately gather items for customer orders and prepare them for shipment. This role is essential to our logistics operations, ensuring that we meet customer demands reliably. You will work within a team-oriented environment that emphasizes Safety and operational excellence. Your accuracy and speed will directly impact our ability to serve our customers effectively.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, using RF scanners or pick lists.
  • Verify the quantity and item numbers of picked products against the order details.
  • Pack items carefully to ensure they are protected during transit.
  • Stage completed orders in designated areas for shipping.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and Safe work environment in compliance with all regulations.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary.
  • Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counting.
  • Wear and properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Contribute to the overall effectiveness of our Logistics department.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse picking role is highly desirable.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Understanding of warehouse Logistics and order fulfillment workflows.
  • Commitment to upholding workplace Safety standards and procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet performance targets in a busy environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication capabilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
